Love Birds Wedding Card

The Love Birds stencil from Claritystamp is useful for so many occasions.  I decided to use it to make a wedding card.
Blend Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick Oxides onto the 6” x 6” gel plate using foam blending tools. Attach the Love Birds stencil to a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card and press the gel plate onto the card through the stencil.
Take a second print on a separate piece of stencil card using the ink remaining on the gel plate.
Stamp the sonnet stamp from the Mixed Media Journal stamp set through the stencil into the ‘sky’ in Bluebird Archival ink, masking off the birds and flowers with copy paper.
Brush Picked Raspberry Oxide through the Dotty Wave stencil (laid over the Love Birds stencil) in the bottom left corner and add Wilted Violet Oxide through the same stencil in the bottom right hand corner.
Go round the outlines with coordinating water colour pencils to bring out the flowers and birds.
Go over the birds with a Wink of Stella clear brush pen to make them sparkle.
Stamp the sonnet stamp round the edges of the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank using the same ink as before.
Trim the stencil card back to 6” x 6”. Mat onto the back of a piece of Toscana designer paper trimmed to 6.5” x 6.5”. Add to the front of the card.
To finish, add two of the celebration word stickers and go round with watercolour pencils.
