I like the smaller versions of Dee's Friends (A6) as they are the perfect size for tags.
Use the largest nesting dome tag die to cut a piece of stencil card and a piece of Toscana designer paper.
Mat the two together. Stamp A6 Hope three times onto Romanian book text and the bird cage once in black ink.
Fussy cut one of the characters, the bird cage and an additional bird.
Stamp ‘with brave wings she flies’ in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss with clear powder. Add the bird cage below as if it is hanging off the word ‘she’ in the same manner.
Glue the book text bird cage over the top.
Add book text Hope and place the extra bird on her head.
Colour the character and extra bird with watercolour pencils blended out with a large watercolour brush pen.
Go round the outside of the bird cage and character with a dark brown pencil and blend out.
To finish, add some of the matching words, colouring the panels to blend in with the background.
