Repeat Background for a Character using a Single Stamp

This card was a last minute addition to my samples for the Dee's New Friends stamps.  It turned out to be my favourite.  It shows that the large A4 stamp set can still be used to create an A5 card and I love how the background turned out using only one stamp.
Cut a piece of stencil card to 20cm x 13.8cm. Stamp the A4 Honour character in Antique Linen Distress Oxide onto the left hand side.
Colour the character with watercolour pencils, blending out with a large watercolour brush pen.
Mask off the character.  Stamp the solid bubble using Twisted Citron Distress Oxide over the background.
Add Peeled Paint Oxide using the same stamp.
Finish the background by adding Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide.
Remove the mask.
Emphasize the outline of the character with a dark brown watercolour pencil, blended out as before.
Mat onto a piece of black card 14.3cm x 20.5cm and add to the front of an A5 white card.
To finish, add some of the corresponding words.
I think this was my best go at water colouring of all the samples too.
