Moonlight Scene with Dee's Friends Peace/Serenity

I really enjoyed building up this scene using one of the new Dee's Friends A5 stamp sets and the birch tree stencil from Clarity.

Stamp the Peace/ Serenity A5 character onto a piece of 7” x 7” Clarity stencil card in black ink. Allow to dry.

Mask off the character and add the Birch Trees stencil over the top using masking to tape to create a hinge.

Brush Moon Crater Artistry ink through the stencil with a stencil brush.

Add the largest full moon mask over the background and replace the stencil. Brush Midnight Blue Artistry ink over the background and intensify the colour with a foam tool.

Remove the masks and stencil.

Mix Pumice Stone Distress oxide with a little Mudstone Artistry ink on a glass mat, pick the ink up with one of the large watercolour brush pens and add colour to the birch trees and branches.  Colour the characters with water colour pencils and blend out the colours with a water colour brush pen.

Trim the card back to 6.75” x 6.75” and add to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.

To finish, add a couple of the matching word panels.
