September Tag: All Geared Up for Leyburn

Having not joined in with a challenge on Tag it Tuesday for a while, I went back and completed September's challenge belatedly.  As I went to my first ever Clarity Open Day in Leyburn N. Yorkshire at the end of September, I decided to celebrate the event.
The four prompts for September were...
1 Glue down string or twine
2 Use gears
3 outline something with a pencil and smudge it
4 use a map

As you can see I used prompts 2, 3 and 4.

Add a map page to a #8 manila tag, seal with matt medium, dry and trim.
I chose a map showing Leyburn in N. Yorkshire as that was where my first visit to a Clarity Open Day took place.  Give the tag a thin coat of white gesso and dry.
Stamp the cogs from the Clocks and Cogs set (Claritystamp) in Sepia Versafine ink and heat emboss in clear embossing powder.
Print ‘All geared up and ready for next year. Can’t wait!’ with the Dymo Letratag in a medium font. Trim the panels and add them to the left of the tag.
Use a 6B pencil to add shading round the gears and printed words. Smudge with a finger. To finish, add Leyburn in a small font in the same manner.
