Cherry's Dragonfly with Fusible Film Wings

The fusible film wings put the finishing touches to Cherry's dragonfly on this card.

Using a stamp platform, stamp the dragonfly and the pretty flourish onto a piece of 7” x 7” Clarity stencil card in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Remove the dragonfly from the stamp platform and turn the card 90 degrees, stamp the pretty flourish for a second time. Continue until all four corners of the stencil card have been stamped with the flourish.

Add Happy Birthday using the mini word chains (1&2 and 3&4) in the same ink.

Colour the garlands and the dragonfly using watercolour pencils, Blend out with a water brush.

Trim back to 6.5” x 6.5” and use the Scallop corner chomper from WeRMemory Keepers in all four corners.

Mat onto black card measuring 6.75” x 6.75” and punch the corners to match.  Add to the front of a 7” x 7”white card blank.

Stamp the dragonfly onto Pearl Violet fusible film using Jet Black Archival ink.

Fussy cut the wings.

To finish, add a dot of acrylic glue under the centre of the wings and attach to the card overlaying them with the water coloured image.
