20th Birthday Card for a Skateboarder

This was the birthday card that I made for our youngest son's 20th birthday yesterday.  He is into skateboarding so the theme was easy.
Attach the Clarity Christmas Stars Shape stencil to a piece of 7” x 7” Clarity stencil card. Brush Tenacious Teal Artistry ink through the top part of the stencil.
Add Golden Turmeric Artistry ink across the middle of the stencil, overlapping the previous colour in places.
Add Green Garland Artistry ink along the bottom in the same manner.
Trim down the card at each side (16cm x 16cm). Trace a piece of royalty free clip art onto the background using a 2B pencil and A5 parchment.

Go over the outline and then fill in the image with a black embossing pen and heat emboss with detail clear embossing powder, heating from below to create a smoother finish.
Cut a narrow frame from black card using the fourth and fifth largest nested circle picot dies. Add the frame round the figure.
Stamp Happy Birthday (mini word chains 1&2 and 3&4) in the bottom right hand corner using Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss in clear powder. Add 20th in the top left (Word Chain numbers) in the same manner.
To finish, mat onto black card (16.5cm x 16.5cm) and add to a 7” x 7” white card blank.
