Masking Off Part of a Stamp To Create A Christmas Card

I chose not to use the whole of the centrepiece stamp from the Tina's Warm Wishes set for the rectangle panels on this card.
Using the third largest rectangle picot die, cut four rectangles from Clarity stencil card. Cut four more rectangles out of black card using the next largest die.
Mask off the side of the centrepiece stamp before inking up with Versamark ink.
Remove the masking before stamping onto three of the rectangles and heat embossing in detail gold powder.
Stamp and emboss the sentiment onto the fourth rectangle in the same manner and add the two small stamps above and below.
Add small amounts of colour to the centre of the roses using a light red water colour Perga liner and draw out the colour with the large fine watercolour brush pen. Add two shades of green to the holly and the leaves and brush out in the same manner.

Mat the white rectangles onto the black rectangles leaving an even border all round.
To finish, arrange the panels onto the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank and glue into place.
