I do like plenty of tags that I can use as bookmarks as I usually have quite a few books on the go at the same time. I used some new mixed media supplies to create this one.
Emboss a #8 manila tag using the Unravelled Twine stencil from Claritystamp
Brush Orange Popsicle Artistry ink over the embossed surface using a Clarity stencil brush.
Add further ink (Blaze and Hay Stack) and finish off with a final layer of Orange Popsicle.
Add stamping along the edges using the matching stamp in Blaze and Orange Popsicle ink.
Gently add metal leaf glue to some of the raised areas using the flat of a finger. Add variegated copper metal flakes and burnish the excess.
Die cut the Funky Leaves and Trees from black card and separate the leaves/trees.
Add them to the tag, trimming the excess.
To finish, add some of Barbara’s sentiment stickers.
I love opening a book to find tags like this.
