Altered Photo Frame

I had a photo frame that I wanted to alter, so used the new Rings stamp and stencil from Clarity.
Give a photo frame a coat of black gesso and dry thoroughly.
Add structure paste through the rings stencil top left and bottom right of the frame.  Allow to dry naturally.
Add another coat of black gesso and allow to dry.
Stamp onto the other two corners of the frame using Versamark ink and the matching stamp. Brush pink and purple mica powders over the top.
Gently add gold gilding wax to the structure paste and the edges of the frame. Blend pink and purple mica powders over the top.
To replace a photo, cut a piece of stencil card to 12cm x 9cm. Add Fancy Fuchsia Artistry ink to the 6” x 6” gel press plate (mounted on the corresponding mega mount) and blend it out with a brayer. Lift some of the ink off the gel plate using the rings stamp and press onto the card.
Add Groovy Grapes ink to the stamp and stamp over the gel print.
Add further stamping in two corners in Versamark ink using the same stamp and heat emboss in gold embossing powder.
Add Art from word chain 1 in black ink and heat emboss using detail clear embossing powder.
Cut down the make art, not war sticker from Barbara’s word sticker collection and add it above and below the stamped word. To finish, put the image into the photo frame and replace the back.

A great project. Its amazing what black gesso will cover & the overall finished look is fantastic & looks far more complicated than it actually was.
