I made this for my sons to give their father last Sunday, but I am only just getting round to sharing it.
I worked on kraft card trimmed to 13.5cm x 13.5cm. Stamp Happy from Word Chain 2 in Versamark ink and heat emboss in detail white embossing powder.
Add Fathers in the same manner using the Word Chain Alphabet to make up the word.
Mask off 'birth' on the birthday stamp (Word Chain 3) using masking tape, ink with Versamark and remove masking tape before stamping. Heat emboss in detail white.
Add Wee Folk characters using Distress Oxides (Faded Jeans, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon).
Add further characters from the Wee Folk (1, 2, Sports and 6) in the same manner. Add drop shadows to the characters and ground them using a white pencil. To finish, add one of Barbara's word stickers, mat onto white card leaving a narrow border and add to a 14.5cm x 14.5cm kraft card blank made from a sheet of A4 card. I love the effect of white and Distress Oxides on kraft card.

Kraft card one of my favourites and as you say white and Distress Oxides just perfect. Does not seem a week since Father's Day, time is flying by. Brilliant card Sarah. X
