Shrink Plastic Mythical Creatures

I had a play with shrink plastic to create this sample using the mythical creature stamps from Claritystamp.
I started by die cutting thee ovals in frosted shrink plastic using the middle die in the deluxe oval picot cutting die set from Claritystamp.  Each one was stamped with a different mythical creature in Jet Black Archival ink on the rough side of the shrink plastic.
Unicorns

Dragon

Phoenix
I used my Ecoline pens and a couple of Kuretake Clean colour pens to colour each creature.

They were all shrunk down using a heat gun and flattened with an acrylic block.
For the card background, I cut a piece of stencil card to 5.5" x 5.5" and covered it with a piece of gel printed deli paper from my stash (using the Dot Wave stencil).  It was sealed, dried and trimmed.
Another piece of stencil card (1.5" x 5.5") was covered with a second piece of inky deli paper.  Once dry and trimmed this was matted onto black card leaving a narrow border top and bottom.
This was then added to the card background.
The words Change, Promise (mini word chains 7&8) and Dream (mini word chains 5&6) were stamped in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed in clear embossing powder.
The background was then mounted onto a 6" x 6" black card blank.
To finish, the three shrink plastic panels were added using strong double sided tape.

Really must try shrink plastic. The stamps look great in miniature. X
