WOYWW 507: On My Travels

This will be short and sweet although I could bore you all with hundreds of photos of our holiday in Romania visiting #2 son. My desk shot is of the game of Monopoly that we played yesterday evening as I bought absolutely no craft supplies with me (shock).  If you visit Julia at The Stamping Ground you will find far more crafty desks to peruse.
I will show you a few of the sights that we've seen so far so you can stop reading now if you are not that interested lol.
Bran Castle: home to Vlad the Impaler

The Castle courtyard

The bread comes in all sizes.

A bookshop in old town Bucharest over 5 floors

I won't have much time to visit this week I'm afraid, but see you all next week for certain.
Airbnb in Brasov

A selection from the bakery for breakfast.

Oh Sarah what a fun visit. I love all your photos. And happy you are able to visit your son. I wanted to visit Romania, Czech Republic, area when I visited my son in Germany a few years back. But we had a full schedule. We did visit a great book shop and the food was awesome. Have fun Safe travels.

Ooh, I'm interested all right - I love seeing other people's travel pics, especially when they're of areas that I doubt I'll ever get to in person. How come your son's in Romania? The bakery selection looks gorgeous, I can smell it from here, lol!

Hi Sarah, hope you are having a great time visiting your son. I used to love visiting the local bookstore when I was a young girl, but sadly it closed down when I was in my twenties, so my daughters never got that pleasure. Thanks for stopping by earlier, and have a lovely week Heather x #17

My mouth waters Sarah, seeing all that gorgeous tasty bread... I LOVE all sorts of bread! Funny to see a circle-monopoly (I only know square play boards) Vlad's castle looks interesting... Your trip looks amazing! How could that castle belong to anyone else but Vlad the Impaler? Bread - I can practically smell that bakery, I could live on bread and cheese alone. And wine. Your breakfast choices look awesome! Thanks for your visit, sorry I'm late - work Wednesday, & bed rest yesterday, so that I can work today! Have a great week, Lindart #25
