Never let go of your Dreams

I made this art journal page in response to the October Challenge on Mixed Media Art Journey; it also gave me the perfect excuse to play with some of the Call of the Wild Collection by Sheena Douglass.
As I was working for the first time in my 10" x 8" K&Company Journal, I cut a piece of Sheena's stamping card to fit.  (Prompt:  Create a page).  I then stamped the Chief from the Call of the Wild Collection by Sheena Douglass directly onto the page using my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and Jet Black Archival ink.  I had also die cut the Dream catcher from the same collection and stamped it using the coordinating stamp (Dare to Dream set) in Watering Can Archival ink. (Prompts:  Add a Face / Use a Stamp)
I laid the dream catcher to one side and masked off the Chief using Pebeo masking fluid.  I then blended Abandoned Coral, Fired Brick and Candied Apple Distress Oxides all over the background, spritzed with water and dried.  (Prompt: Use Red).
Two of the word stamps from the Dare to Dream set (Dare to Dream and Dream Catcher) were stamped randomly over the background using Vermillion, Red Geranium and Carnation Red Archival inks. (Prompt: Add a word of the day, in this case Dream).
I coloured the Dream Catcher using Sepia and Ultramarine Blue Ecoline pens, added a little Prussian Blue and once dry, blended some Gilding Wax in Light Gold over the top.
This was then added to the page using some narrow ribbon to hang it from. (Prompt: Add Ribbon).
The dry masking fluid was erased from the Chief and the image coloured using Ecoline pens.
It only remained to stamp the final sentiment from the Dare to Dream stamp set onto Sheena's stamping card (Versamark ink, heat embossed in detail black embossing powder); trim the card down and blend Antique Linen Distress Oxide over the top.  This was added to the page with glue.
