First Christmas Tag!

Having recently made my first Christmas card of the year, I decided it was time to work on my first Christmas tag.
As always I worked on a #8 manilla tag and used a mop up sheet for my background.  This one was on the back of a spare piece of photocopying and had been used to clean my brayer, stencil brushes and blending mat when making this card (see HERE for details).
Once I had glued the sheet over the tag, I sealed, dried and trimmed all round.
Looking through my stash, I came across a die cut from the Sue Wilson Christmas Angel of 2015 in black pearlescent card and glued it in place.
Once sealed with Distress Collage Medium and dried to provide a non porous surface, I blended Faber-Castell Big Brush Markers in Medium Flesh and Permanent Carmine around the angel and the edges of the tag, blending out the colour with my fingers.
Finally, I chose the word 'timeless' from the Chit Chat sticker pad, the phrase 'joy to the world' from the Small Talk Occasions set and the phrase 'Let's celebrate' from the Quotations Metallic Stickers (all by Tim Holtz) to finish the tag.
