Blues and Greens Tag

I created this tag for the Country View August Challenge: Blues and Greens.  It was great fun and gave me the excuse to look through my collection of mop up sheets.
I worked on a #8 manilla tag for speed.  Having looked through my collection of mop up sheets, I came across a selection using the same colours which were made by cleaning off my brayer from a previous project and also cleaning my large gelli plate (having worked with the Claritystamp Dotty Wave stencil).  I also found a piece of paper towel, but decided in the end not to use it.
I used three layers/pieces of mop up sheets eventually; gluing each in place with Matte Mod Podge, drying and trimming off each piece in turn.
First layer

Second layer on right.

Third layer; a torn strip
I found a quote that I liked about blue and green to tie in with the colours of the tag and printed it out using my Dymo Letratag.  I also stamped the sound wave stamp from the Music Speaks set by Visible Image across the top of the torn strip, using a Versamark ink pad and heat embossing with Bright White detail embossing powder by Cosmic Shimmer.
Finally, I added the girl on a swing stamp from Wee Folk 2 by Claritystamp using the same method as before as well as the teeny weeny flying boy stamp from the Grove Trees outline stamp set (also by Claritystamp).  If you look closely, you can see that the heat gun started to singe the quote tapes, but I felt that this just added detail and a shadow effect rather than spoiling the tag, so I simply chose to ignore it.  I have made a mental note for the future though!
