Life is a Circle: Art Journal Page

This page was made in response to the June prompt over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Pages and More: Repeat After Me.  The second suggestion for the month was Circles.  I created a page using layers of circles in a repetitive pattern.
I started by using the circle Gel Press Petite, Salty Ocean Distress Oxide, a brayer and the petite Rings stencil (from Claritystamp) to cover a piece of mixed media card (18.5cm x 19.5cm).
The second layer was built up using one stamp: the solid circle stamp from Sam's Shapes set 2 (also from Claritystamp).  I stamped multiple times using all the blue and green Archival inks which I own; quite a few as you can see.
For the final layer of circles, I switched to the Limor Circles stamp set from IndigoBlu.  This time they were stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed using Ancient Copper detail EP from Cosmic Shimmer.  Each image appears three times.
The prompt word 'Circle' was heat embossed in detail black EP using the Word Chain Alphabet from Claritystamp.  The first part of the quote 'Life is a' was made up of words from the Tim Holtz Chit Chat sticker book.  The final lines, 'The end of one journey is the beginning of the next.' was printed off using my Dymo Letratag, trimmed and added to the page.
To finish, the edge of the page was coloured using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide with a little Walnut Stain on top.  The quote panels were edged using a Staedtler Triplus fine liner pen
in brown.
