Metal Flake Lotus Panel

For my final play with the Panel Stencils which are one of Clarity's April Products of the Month, I used metal flakes to produce a dramatic effect.

Attach the Lotus Flower panel stencil (01067) to one of the new Theuva card strips with low tack tape.

Apply Pentart metal leaf glue through the stencil using a sponge brush. Remove the stencil and allow to go tacky. Wash the stencil and brush with warm soapy water.

Add Variegated Gold and Copper metal flakes over the glue and press down.

Remove the excess with a rough sponge.

If there are any sections that need touching up, use a white Faber-Castell eraser pencil (30670) to smooth out the edges, then wipe a tumble dryer sheet over the card to remove any remaining bits.

To finish, add one of the Art Deco sentiments at the top and one at the bottom in Jet Black Archival ink (50030).
