WOYWW 840/60: Trapped Nerve/5 Working Days to Retirement

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows some goodies from Disneyland Paris.  A good time was had by all but I came home having trapped a nerve in my right arm/shoulder so spent Saturday afternoon in A and E, having been sent there by the out of hours GP, instead of at the theatre watching Bat Out of Hell.

The other result is no more #dailyart2025 since I came back.  I have made it into work thanks to lifts from colleagues and heavy duty pain killers, and have an appointment with my own GP tomorrow.

It is presentation evening this evening so I will be home very late.  Will visit in the morning after my Doctor's appointment.  Stay safe and happy belated birthday to Julia for Monday.

Oh Sarah you poor thing and you missed the theatre too. Hoping the GP has a better answer to the pain for you, just amazed you are managing school but I guess you couldn't miss the last few days. Do try to rest up when you can. Gentle hugs BJ#1

I think you need someone with a hands on approach with that shoulder. Such a shame you missed the theatre, you must have been in terrible pain.
On a brighter note at least you survived Paris with Year 8 and got them all home safe and sound. Hope it was enjoyable before the shoulder kicked in.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

Sorry to hear you've done that it must be very painful, hope they manage to sort it. Love your Disneyland Goodies and hope you manage to enjoy the last few days at school as it would be a shame if you have to miss the end if term. Sending gentle woyww hugs Angela x7x

Ouch! Sounds painful :( Hope the painkillers are working and that your trapped nerve eases up soon. Glad to hear all went well with Paris but shame about missing the theatre. Love your art so far and though I shall miss them, I would much prefer you get better and do what it takes to ease your shoulder pain. Sending hugs. P xx

I’m so sorry to hear about your shoulder, that’s not what was supposed to happen on your final trip and days at work. Hope your GP can suggest something better to help and, as Neet said, maybe some physio to help.
Hugs LLJ 5 xx

Oh, Sarah! so sorry to hear this. What an unpleasant reminder of a wonderful trip. I'm just recovering from re-injuring cracked ribs so I feel your pain. Suddenly, mine doesn't feel so bad. Sending hugs and blessings for a speedy recovery. ~ Kelly #11
