Enjoy Your Retirement

I made this card for a colleague who was retiring with me this year. As she taught in Y6 for many years, I thought I would include that on the card.

Draw Y6 onto a piece of copy paper in pencil.

Cut it out with a craft knife.

Add it to a piece of Clarity stencil card using low tack tape and add a full moon mask.

Choosing one of the stamps from Elementree set 1, add it multiple times in Wild Honey Distress Oxide.

Add a second leaf from the same set in Fired Brick Oxide.

Continue in Carved Pumpkin Oxide with a third leaf.

Add a fourth leaf in Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide.

Add a leaf from Elementree set 2 in Festive Berries Distress Oxide.

Before removing the mask, when the ink is dry, lightly brush Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink through the apertures. Remove the masks.

Trim a piece of Northern Lights Companion paper to 7.25” x 7.25” and mat up the topper.

Add it to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.

Add a gold Pergamano Rub-on Transfer from the All Occasions set.

To finish, add a Pinky Gray Greetings sticker to the same companion paper as before, trim leaving a narrow border and add to the front of the card.
