Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday), the brainchild of Julia, who was kindly entrusted it to me to continue after 15 years of togetherness. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.
Wishing all my WOYWW friends a Happy New Year and a better 2025 than 2024.
I decided to work on my own calendar for 2025 - I had to get one from Funky Fossil, as Clarity do not produce one, sadly. My desk also shows the amazing ornament which Eva got me for Christmas and the first of my Clarity watercolour pads ready for my new #dailyart2024 challenge.
I have been thinking about friends and family who left us in 2024. We lost one of our own in November with the passing of Christine (Bishopsmate). She will be missed at the annual crop (more of which next week). She always stood out with her pink hair and zest for life.
A fabulous family meal out for Mum's birthday and another get together afterwards to make a start on the Detective Box game I bought between everyone for Christmas. Two hours in, great fun, and we haven't finished the first of three boxes yet!
An evening in wearing my Oodie onesie and an early night on the cards.
The boys cooked an amazing meal for the whole family - 15 plates altogether with enough for one more meal for Mum and guests the next day.
Once again, wishing you all a Happy, Healthy New Year and a wonderful 2025.

A lovely post for the new year, save the loss of Christine. Sad to see his news. But I look forward to crop details and the calendar. You know I love making digital ones but the base for stamped ones, also in my wheelhouse ;). Happy 2025 Woyww!

Happy New Year Sarah, wishing you health and happiness for 2025. I’m so glad you had a good Christmas as it must have been tough for you and the family. Thank you for the pic of Christine too, a proper character.
That Detective game sounds fun, I’ll look out for it!
Hugs LLJ 2 xx
I haven't yet got my book for my crafty calendar for this year - I think I will just get a plain book this year and add printed dates.
Enjoyed your collage clusters this week especially Dec 30 and 31.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too. We will miss Christine for sure. It's been a sad 2025 in some ways and it felt strange here too not having mum around as we had spent Christmas with her for a long time. Love the calendar. I have made mine too but it's all photos of the dogs, I'll show it here some time....when I remember to get it out Lol! Take care and happy WOYWW, Angela x7x
Happy new year, your desk decoration from Eva looks lovely and pleased the lunch snd birthday celebrations went well, fair play to them as that a lot of plates to make up. Such sad news about Bishopsmate, met her a couple times at the crops and as you say a real zest for life. Ooh calendar looks interesting, I love mary annes calendars but hadn't thought of stamping or actually painting something for each month.....ooh I may have given myself an idea/another job for the to do list!!

Happy new year, Sarah! I had to look up the Oodie onesie - they look very snug. Well done you and your lads for cooking for so many. Apart from remembering the lovely Christine, it’s a cheery post with beautiful collages.
Wishing you all the best for a happy and healthy new year, hugs Lynnecrafts 11 xx
The boys did well cooking for so many. Mu husband cooked for 12 this year. My granddaughter made the Yorkshire puddings and didn’t read the recipe properly, so the rest of the ingredients had to be doubled up, which made the grandchildren very happy! Happy New Year and happy WOYWW. Angela #8
Here's to a new year full of fun and friendship.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx
Happy New Year! Sad to hear about Christine, I never met her, but remember her pink hair! She looks like she would have been a lot of fun to know. It's always sad to hear about art sisters passing, even though I never met them in person, I feel like I know everyone!
I'm impressed with the lads cooking for 15 people! I cooked this year after not having to for several years, I forgot how much work it was! I'm glad you had a nice Christmas, Happy Birthday to your mum! My favourite journal page today is the first one! Have a wonderful first week of 2025! Lindart #13
Happy New Year! Nice post to start the year. One of my New Year's resolutions is to try to have a post for each WOYWW week! This is such a fun hop!
Happy New Year Sarah! Loving all your papers and pages, I don't think I could keep up with doing something every day, although I did manage Ceri The Crafters GeliPostCards for the whole of July....so? You never know...never say never! Happy WOYWW And Happppppy New YeAr!!! ((Lyn))#15 I think!
