WOYWW 817/37: Time Flies

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday), the brainchild of Julia, who was kindly entrusted it to me to continue after 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

I was unpacking a delivery of card blanks and envelopes.  Craft Stash had a half price sale on so I stocked up on 8x8, 7x7, 6x6 and 5x7.  Don't think I will need any more for quite some time.

Some of you were asking about the stamp pens, so I thought I would show you a close up.  They come in 4 shapes  - oval, square, circle and rectangle and are 2cm or 2.5cm x 1.5cm.  I have used them nearly every time I have crafted since I bought mine.  Glad I got the second set before the price goes up at the end of this week.

My #dailyart2025 pages are still in full swing, but I can't believe that February will be on us before we meet up again.  I have a meeting to go to this afternoon, so will catch up with you all tomorrow morning if I don't get to visit today.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone.

Wish I had known about the envelope sale - there are some sizes I am short of. Glad you got a bargain.
Still not sure about the pens, any chance of seeing a sample of the work you produce when using them.
Loving the set of daily art!

Gosh a great stash of card blanks but then again you make a great load of cards don't you? Thanks for showing the stamp pens, very similar to stamp pegs. Super daily art, love juicy, love oranges. Is your class with Tilly for 3D mushrooms too? Such a shame I live too far away for that as well as the crop. I can dream. BJ#3

Thanks for explaining the pens...they look brilliant so I now understand why you bought so many. Love the daily paintings.

Those pens are a great idea - thanks for the close up. They must be so easy to use compared to the tiny stamps set that I have. Love your painted rainbow of course. 😀 Looking forward to seeing you soon. x x Jo

Love the daily art. Wish I could draw better for sure - and I know if I practiced I might GET bette but it's one more thing I will probably never find time for LOL! I have a bit of a stash of envelopes but they all seem to be square. Oh well...
Happy busy day WOYWW!

Ooh I love their card blanks a really good thickness (made the mistake and bought cheap ones elsewhere and was gutted as they are so thin). Love your daily journaling too.

Hi Sarah, well done with the card collection you can never have too many. Hope the meeting doesn't go on for too long after school. I used to create some interesting doodles in my diary at school meetings Lol! Happy woyww, Angela x10x

Those stamp pens are a great idea. I can totally imagine how addictive it is creating a collage of images into a wreath etc. Good find with the craft stash!!! As always, love your daily art project and your unwavering commitment.

You won’t need envelopes etc for some time but that sounded like a good deal, I’d have been tempted as well! Those little stamp pens are ingenious, thanks for showing us a close up as I had no idea what they were before!

It’s lovely to get a bargain! I did have a look at the stamp pens, they are quite a good idea, I was going to say expensive, but then I thought what price some of the stamps are (that I really like, but I think expensive). Quality products are expensive, but as long as they get used it’s okay. (Slightly shame faced as some of my stuff hasn’t been used!). Happy WOYWW. Angela #11

That's a lot of card blanks! That should do you for a few years! The Stam Pens do look useful! My favourite drawing today is "storytime", bringing me back to when I was teaching Montessori and reading to the children! Have a lovely week, Lindart #14

Made it at last!

A question about the pens - how will you stop yourself from rocking the stamp? I'd be afraid of getting too comfy a grip, and then stamping at an angle!

What a lot of envelopes! I always seem to be running out...
I have been looking for the clarity stamp pens but I don't think they have got to Australia yet.
Great sketches as usual... happy WOYWW! Susan #12 again.
