Spring Flower Wallpaper Birthday Card

I used the Spring Build a Wreath stamp set to create this birthday card, but went with more of a floral wallpaper design.

Lay the 8” x 8” Thick Stripes stencil over the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank and blend Pink Peony Archival ink through the apertures.

Stamp the Happy Birthday Bijou Ribbon sentiment onto a piece of Clarity stencil card in Jet Black Archival ink.

Die cut the sentiment using the 3” nested circle die and a mat from Rainbow River companion paper using the corresponding nested circle picot die.

Add flower heads from the Spring Build a Wreath stamp set to the topper in Pink Peony Archival ink and mat up the topper.

Stamping directly onto the front of the card, add foliage from the same stamp set in English Ivy Archival ink between the stripes.

Add Flower Heads in Violet and French Ultramarine Archival ink.

Add the birds and some swirls in Jet Black Archival ink.

To finish, add the topper to the front of the card. Add swirls to the centre of the flowers as before.
