WOYWW 816/36: Playing With Stamp Pens

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday), the brainchild of Julia, who was kindly entrusted it to me to continue after 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows my box of stamp pens which sits right next to me at all times now.  I bought a second set of 12 after trying out the first, and am not really sure how I managed before they were released for alphabet and small stamps.  They have been used constantly with my Build a Wreath stamps since they arrived.

They are great because I can mount up multiple stamps for a project so as not to have to keep switching mounts.

My Christening dress which was made from Mum's wedding dress and used by all three of the boys for their Baptisms too.

The #dailart2025 pages are still going strong.  I used my Neocolour II crayons on a couple but keep going back to the Faber-Castell Albrecht DΓΌrer watercolour pencils.

Next Wednesday marks the half way point of the school year.  It seems to be going by really quickly.  I will be at a meeting in the afternoon and hope the return journey is a bit quicker than the one before Christmas.

I am really looking forward to the crop and I know many of you are as well.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Well you've stumped me with "stamp pens!" no idea what they are, although I could have a good guess. Gorgeous cards, I really ought to make some in readiness. How you mount up multiple stamps you mention is also curious to me?? I do have some peg stamps so I guess they are similar?? Hmmm? Great art pages. Hugs BJ#1

Love your cards, especially the wreath one. Now I am wondering what these build a Wreath stamps are. Mmm. might just have to investigate
Enjoying your daily art pages.

I am guessing the stamp pens are mounts for small stamps?? I assume the build a wreath stamps are Clarity's version of the peg stamps I have like BJ; I can't remember the name of the company they're from, however they are wooden so would not be adaptable to the stamp pens. I love the cards though, and your daily drawings are growing well! Happy WOYWW Helen #3

I have no idea what those pens are and why you need so many...it obviously goes over my head [not hard these days lol]. Have fun playing with them.

Love the little wreath cards and it's just occurred to me that I have a similar set of tiny stamps - now I know what to do with them! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€x x Jo 🌈

So when you say stamp pens, do you just mean markers? LOL! I had lots of ZIG markers back in the day and used them a lot for daubing onto tiny stamps, but eventually I just tapped them lightly onto stamp pads, bas basically I'm a bit lazy :D The daily art is looking fab - I am crap at any art that is truly representational. My Pictionary skills lie in guessing, nor drawing!

Happy WOYWW!

Stunning designs with your stamp pens, you've come up with some beautiful designs, my favourite being the red and green stripe on Seasons Greetings. Love that you're managing to stay committed to a daily drawing, it's an impressive feat and wonderful to see a week's worth at one time. I've decided to spend as little time, if any on Facebook, so now will be visiting your weekly blog posts to catch up with all your brilliant creativity :) P xx

Hi Sarah, at first I thought your stamp pens were like those tiny stamps on wood, when I zoomed in, I could see that they weren’t. So I went off the Clarity to have a look. They do make lovely wreaths and backgrounds. Your cards are so nice. I love the little Christening dress in your daily art. Happy WOYWW. Angela #10

Hi! Made it again! I iz back! LOL. Love those stamp pens. Recognising the colours I went and had a look on the Clarity website. I may have to give them a try but they're rather expensive. Great idea though.

Those stamp pens look very useful! I finally found them on Clarity, no one else has them. But I can't order from the UK, so that's too bad. Oh well! I like your self-care drawing best this week, that's what I do every night! especially with the weather we've been having! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #14
