Just Silhouette Frame Collection: Ideas and Inspiration

The last in the series of Just Silhouette Frame stamps (Christmas) as well as the sampler version was just released by Clarity Crafts so I thought I'd share some ideas and inspiration using some of the earlier sets.  Links to all the step by step projects are beneath each photo.

 Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks that is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday), started over 15 years ago by the amazing Julia and entrusted to me to keep going.  Please do join in/visit the desks of the great group of people who are part of this blog hop.

My desk shows the ingredients ready for the Craft Along on Thursday evening with Barbara Gray on the Clarity website (www.claritycrafts.com).  I just need to get the brayer that I reserve for paint out and my brown craft mat.  There is now a section for Clarity TV where all the shows and SHAC/craft sessions are in one place.  You can watch live or catch up later.  With the demise of Create & Craft it is so important to support craft businesses directly.

After a bad week last week, this one has been much better.  We had a family get together on Sunday.

Three generations of both sides of the family. #2 son took the photo with his drone. Tommy (the dog) was not impressed.

I finished my pumpkin for the staff challenge - there were loads of entries.

Merry Christmas Tree Silhouette Frame

For this Christmas card I combined both the larger and smaller versions of the same silhouette frame stamp onto one card.

You To Me Are Everything

For this card using the Clarity Silhouette Frame Sampler stamps I used one of the woodland stamps as a background and a second as the focal point.

Santa Is On His Way

For this card, I teamed one of the Christmas Silhouette Frame stamps with designer card and paper.

Have A Lovely Floral and Butterfly Silhouette Day

The Silhouette Frame Sampler stamps really lend themselves to using multiple images on a card for larger cards.  Here I used some of the floral and Butterfly images.

Health, Peace and Sweet Content at Christmas

The new Christmas Silhouette Frame stamps from Clarity are fun to play with.  Here I teamed one of the stamps with a circle aperture stencil.

I thought my Yupo print background would work well with these Just Wheels and Wings images from the Silhouette Frame Sampler stamp set.

WOYWW 803/23: Ready For A Break

 Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks that is WOYWW - a weekly get together of blogs and like minded crafty people which has been going for over 15 years.  The inspiration of Julia who has kindly entrusted me to keep things going since the 15th anniversary.

Rest In Peace - Or Pieces?

The latest challenge over on Tag Tuesday is Spooky Vibes. I thought this tag might fit the bill.

Cover a #8 manila tag with a gel print created with pink dye based ink on a gel plate with splashes of orange and red liquid Brushos. Trim the excess.

Stamp the solid jigsaw piece from Sam’s Shapes 1 in Carved Pumpkin Oxide in several places.

Stamp the outline over each solid jigsaw shape in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss with clear powder.

To finish, add two of the Halloween quote chips by Tim Holtz.

SHAC Baubles: Ideas and Inspiration

 I thought I'd share some inspiration using the SHAC baubles stamps and the build a bauble stamp sets from Clarity Crafts in time for Christmas card making.  As always, links to the projects are below each photo.

 I love the Christmas Window designs from Clarity Crafts.  They are available in stamps, stencils, Groovi and dies.  Here I am sharing some ideas and inspiration not only for Christmas.

October #dailycollage2024 Pages - Part One

I think that my October #dailycollage2024 pages are probably my favourites of the year to now.  I love autumn colours and the images of fallen leaves.  As usual my pages start with Clarity Infusions Collage papers - this time Darjeeling - and are finished with a Clarity Words sticker from one of their five collections.

WOYWW 802/22: Voice Back!

 Welcome to the weekly desk share that is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - for 15 years Julia's baby and now entrusted to me for safekeeping.  Please feel free to link up your desk and/or visit those whose desks are far more interesting than mine.

I have been adding to my paper storage folder collection and have two more on their way.  Will still need another 5 or 6 at least to house all my Clarity 8x8 papers but they will be much better organised.

I cheated a little with my #dailycollage2024 pages this week as the Friday and Saturday pages were both created on 12th.  I had a sore throat Thursday morning last week and woke up Friday with no voice and feeling hot and cold.  Spent the day in bed under the covers wearing my Oodie to keep snug.  It meant also cancelling the recorder play day I was supposed to attend on Saturday.  Was back at work on Monday and my voice held up OK.  We are in school again on Saturday morning as it is the open morning for prospective parents.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.
