It's A Girl

This card was made using one of the Just Flowers Silhouette Frame stamps from Clarity Crafts.  I was inspired by a card made by Deborah Wheeler using one of the Just Gents Silhouette Framer stamps.

Add Victorian Velvet and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides to one of the Just Flowers Silhouette Frame stamps. Use a brayer to smooth out the ink and add to a piece of Clarity stencil card.  Make a mask for the stamp and mask up the image.

Add one of the thin stripe stencils (A5 or 8” x 8”) to the stencil card, masking down each side of the image with low tack tape.

Blend Victorian Velvet Distress ink above and below the masked image with a Clarity stencil brush.

Move the stencil and add further stripes in Seedless Preserves Distress ink in the same way. Remove the mask.

Add one of the Congratulations sentiments from the Occasions Sentiments in Thistle Archival ink.

Colour the lettering with the Victorian Velvet Distress marker.

Add ‘It’s a Girl’ from the Adorable Baby stamp set in the same ink as before.

Mat the topper onto two pieces of Amazonia Companion paper leaving narrow borders.

To finish, add to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.
