Love You To the Moon and Back

This time I combined one of the tree way overlay stamp sets from the Panorama collection with the larger of the coordinating stencils.

Attach the three tree 7”x7” stencil to a piece of Clarity stencil card using low tack tape to create a hinge.

Lift the stencil and stamp the outline of the same design (from the 3-way overlay set) into the centre in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add a mini moon mask to the image.

Add Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky and Pine Needles Oxides to the #3 background stamp with spot on sponges and overlay the image. Remove the mask.

Mask up the image using a 58mm x 58mm mask made from a piece of mask blank.

Add a full moon mask in the same position onto the stencil card as in the stamped image.

Blend the same colour Distress inks as the Oxides used in the stamping lightly through the stencil. Remove the moon mask.

With the stencil back in place and most of the ink removed from the brush, go over the moon area with Stormy Sky ink. Remove the stencil and masking.

Die cut the topper using the largest nested square die and a mat from black card using the corresponding picot die.

Mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.

To finish, add a drop shadow to the stamped image using grey Polychromos and one of the Pinky Gray Greetings stickers.
