Gel Print BOW-WOB Tags

I had a play with some of the papers I created at the Clarity retreats in the summer to create some tags.  Here are the results.

The papers were created by dragging Distress Oxides (Peacock Feather, Picked Raspberry and Uncharted Mariner) across a large gel plate, lightly pressing Clarity BOW-WOB papers into the ink and taking a print onto copy paper.  By reusing the papers you create lovely colourful backgrounds.

Die cut two tags from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested arch tags die.

Add one of the prints and one of the BOW-WOB papers to the tags with matte medium and die cut for a second time. I used a baren to ensure the papers were well adhered to the tags. Seal the papers with a coat of matte medium and allow to dry.

Die cut letters from Clarity stencil card using the Woodblock Print A4 Alphabet dies to say ART.

Add the letters to one of the tags.

Stamp Art is what you make it from quote set 3 to the other tag in Seafarer Archival ink.

Add the easel from the Artist stamp set in the same ink.

Colour the easel frame with a gold Pergamano gel pen.

Add the cat paw from the Miniature Cats and Dogs stamp set into the frame in the same ink as before.

Go round the outside of the paw with the gold gel pen.

To finish the tag, go round the edges with a Cobalt Green and Phthalo Blue Big Brush marker, blended out with a finger.

To finish the second tag, add three of Barbara's words stickers.
