One Step at a Time

I went with my favourite rainbow colours for this second card using just two stamps from Barbara's Loving Heart and Alphabet.  Dedicated to my Dad who would have celebrated his 90th birthday yesterday.

Draw a line 1.5” from the bottom of a 7” x 7” white card blank. Add the flower from Barbara’s loving Heart stamp set into the middle in Jet Black archival ink.

Add a flower each end of the line in the same ink.

Fill in the gaps in a like manner.

Use the long border stamp to create a pattern along the line.

Add a further pencil line above the flowers and add a second border using the same stamp and ink.

Colour the flowers using Distress markers in Festive Berries, Candied Apple, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salt Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, and Wilted Violet.

Erase the pencil lines and colour the borders with a black Posca pen.

To finish, add one of Barbara’s words stickers.
