WOYWW 782: Holiday

Welcome once again to the weekly sharing of desks WOYWW, hosted by Julia until week 780 and now myself.

My desk shows the letter received from the British Heart Foundation acknowledging my donation following the WOYWW crop.  Thanks again to those who attended for their generosity.
We are away on holiday for #2 son's 30th birthday.  He very generously laid out for a wonderful villa in Northern Spain and we had a very early start on Saturday for the flight into Santander.  It was worth buying a swimming costume to use the pool!
As you can see, the boys, their house mate and #1 son's girlfriend are also enjoying the facilities.

This is scheduled as we are hoping to visit Bilbao today.  I will probably not be doing much visiting until our return at the weekend, although the wifi is very good at the villa so I may get round earlier.

Well that looks lush! I could use a week away in the sun but life has been far too busy to find the time! One side effect of choosing to live so far from family is that we tend to spend holidays back home instead of on a beach or a fab city break. I would ignore the Wi-Fi till you are back! Start as you mean to go on… :)

Just sit back and enjoy the sunshine. Housekeeping can wait. Make the most of it, it's miserable weather here.

Wow, what a great place to celebrate a birthday! It must be so nice to be relatively close to places like Spain, France, etc. Our closest is the US, and I'm not going there anytime soon! We also had a birthday celebration, DD who is now 38 and DGD who is 3! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #15
