Orange and Yellow Bijou Lino Backgrounds

I went with an orange and yellow theme for this card using the Bijou Lino backgrounds with the Alliums and Teasles from Clarity Crafts.

Stamp the small Bijou Teasle Background onto a piece of Clarity stencil card in Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide.

Add further stamping using the same stamp in Mustard Seed Wild Honey and Fossilized Amber Oxides.

Repeat on the other half of the card replacing Wild Honey with Spiced Marmalade Oxide.

Add one of the teasle stems and two of the alliums in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add the two remaining teasle stems in the same ink.

Add the two small allium foliage and the three teasle scratch stamps in a like manner.

Add the three allium scratch stamps as before.

Add further foliage.

Go round the edge of the topper with a black Sharpie pen and mat it onto a piece of Shenandoah Companion paper trimmed to 7.5” x 7.5”.

Add to the front of an 8” x 8” black card blank.

To finish, add one of Barbara’s Words stickers.
