Fishing Buddies

I decided to use this resist technique used by Barbara Gray in her recent craftalong to make a card as I was playing with these stamps.

Take a piece of A6 Clarity coated white card. Sand it lightly and stamp the fishing buddies framed stamp from the Fishing/Happiness stamp set onto it in Versamark ink. Add the larger foliage stamp around the image in the same manner.
Add Green Garland, Blue Chase, and Haystack Artistry inks to a blending mat, add plenty of water, pick up with brushes and add to the coated card.
Once completely dry, buff up the card.
Spritz the remaining ink on the blending mat lay a poly bag over the top, remove, and lay a piece of Clarity stencil card on the mat to mop up the ink.
Go round the stencil card with a black Sharpie pen and add it to a white 8” x 8” card blank.
Go round the coated card with the same pen. Use a craft knife to cut out the central image carefully, edge it with the same pen.
Add the coated card frame to the front of the card.
Insert the fishing image.
Add the happiness sentiment quote in Black Soot Archival ink.
To finish, overstamp the image with the original stamp in the same ink.   Thanks Barbara for the finishing touch.
