WOYWW 778: The Anniversary Nears

Congratulations to Julia (and Jan), I can hardly believe that the 15th anniversary of WOYWW get togethers is only a fortnight away.  Closely followed by the crop on the 18th May.

My desk shows some of the tags that I will be bringing to the crop as I won't have time to make ATCs to swap.  At the moment we are 10-12 crafters plus a plus one.  However if there are any more last minute additions all will be welcome.  Please see my post last week for the address.  We will be getting going at 10am and will finish at 4pm to allow time for clearing up.  Eva and I will be bringing tea and coffee and I have had one offer of cake as well.  I forgot to mention the sandwich shop which is across the road as well as the chippy and convenience store last week.  Annie also reminded me about the raffle and is bringing raffle tickets.  Please bring something for the raffle and if you have anything to donate to the sale stall all money raised from these will be going to the British Heart Foundation.
I can't believe it's May already.  My new colour palette is green.  It would have been Dad's 90th birthday tomorrow and it was his favourite colour.  I do hope that I have my car back by then (long story) as I would like to take Mum out.
Please visit Stamping Ground where Julia hosts WOYWW each week.  Happy WOYWW.

  4. Thanks for your visit. You are one busy lady. I hope your weather is perfect, always enjoyable if it is. You sound very organized for your gathering. I always wished I could attend and almost made it until Covid happened. Now my family will return back to USA soon. I was awakened by a loud noise..The TV came on all by itself...the ice maker was wildly making ice and the cat was starving....the Electricity came back on ! I hope I can return to my dream.....and lead a normal life in a few sunshine/ing hours. SON & FAMILY will be returning to WASHINGTION DC...he will be in states in 2 wks looking or settling on a home in Virginia.. Prayers that all goes soomthly. I can't wait to hug my 3 grand girls. Hugs to You I think of you everyday. Glad to see you posting and being active. It's important to keep busy. 💕

  7. I was hoping to come to the crop but I hadn't realised quite how far it was! I thought I could stay at my in-laws but it's still a couple of hours from there. Something to ponder & have a chat with DH about as I'd so love to see everyone after such a long time. Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #7 www.prettymypage.co.uk

  10. Hi Sarah, I hope you get the car back in time to take your mother out. Arrived at our first site of the year yesterday. Beautiful views. The wind started in the evening, kept going all night, then about 7 am two of the bands holding the awning down snapped and as my husband was trying to do something, the awning flipped over the caravan! Disaster, ripped awning, broken poles! What a start to the holiday! Angela #15

  11. Shame the crop is so far away from me, but at least I can join in with the ATCs! Your tags look brilliant...must try making some with all my bits! I still haven't been able to load a new background to my blog, yours look lovely, I did take a look but didn't find yours or any others that would suit my blog, and in any case I think it's a lost cause, as it keeps saying to anything I try to add, that the 'template' doesn't support, whatever. On the didgi store blog I lost nearly everything, but then got most of it back once I moved things about and the background I chose from another site, is there....for about two seconds when I first load it! Off now to sort out some 'bits'! Have a happy WOYWW week stay safe and keep on crafting!! ((Lyn)) #16

  12. Oh no not a poorly car again (you've a bit of trouble with it lately haven't you). Hope you get it back in time. The Crop sounds great fun, shame I can't travel far as I'd love to meet you all (Only met Helen so far but she's just up the road) Looking forward to the greens for May, I went for blue for my May journal cover but can't keep to a colour theme at all for the inside - LOL. 13. I always get a little sad that I don't get to come to the crops and have fun with all of you! Your tags are gorgeous, and I like the April 26th collage best today! Have a great week! Lindart #22

  14. Argh, hope by now the car problem is over. I know we have to be patient about diagnostics and part availability but it's very hard, we drivers do tend to make our lives around a car! It's just an extra thing to think about in your schedule isn't it. Love the variety of tags Sarah, nice idea. Im not home till late next week so shall be in a flat panic about producing something to bring with me! It will include a cake or something like it, promise!

  15. Good morning, Sarah
I saw you'd emailed me but haven't replied to anyone this week. Time is short when Bob is home.
You are keeping busy as always. Please remember to allow some quiet time, too. Hugs & Creative Blessings! ~ Kelly #21
