Build a Scene Panel Card and my 2250th Blog Post

I am celebrating my 2250th blog post with the last of my Build a Scene samples using the fabulous masks from Clarity Crafts.

Mask the right-hand side of a 6” x 6” white card blank using Clarity masking tape close to the top, bottom and right-hand edge leaving a 2” wide opening.
Add the third bottom mask from the Hills and Clouds Build a Scene set and blend Rustic Wilderness ink below it.
Mask off the inked section and add the second mask from the top above it leaving an aperture.
Blend Shabby Shutters Distress ink through the aperture.
Mask up the inked section and move the other mask up the panel.
Blend Bundled Sage Distress ink through the aperture.
Move the hill mask up the page to cover the inking.
Using the Cloud section of the mask, work down the top the panel blending Stormy Sky Distress ink upwards from the mask with a Clarity stencil brush. Move the mask down the panel, adding further ink until the sky is complete. Remove the masks.
Remove the masking tape from round the panel.
Add one of the masks across the card to line up with the bottom hill.
Add two of the Grunge Trees in Black Soot Distress Archival ink and then use the top of a tree to create a hedgerow in the same ink across the card. Remove the masking.
To finish, add one of Barbara’s Words stickers.
