Bird Tree Rainbow Card

I used an old favourite stencil and mask to create this card along with my new Distress watercolour pencils.

Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 6.5” square. Using the Clarity Clouds mask blend Stormy Sky Distress ink over the mask, move the mask down the topper and repeat until the background is covered.

Scribble a rainbow across the topper using Distress Watercolour pencils in Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, Prize Ribbon, and Shaded Lilac. Blend out with a watercolour brush pen.

Once dry, lay the bird tree stencil over the top and pounce black acrylic paint through the aperture.

Add one of Barbara’s Words stickers.

To finish, add the topper to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.
