Pretty Floral Panel Birthday Card

Rather than use the main floral stamp for this birthday card I decided to use some of the smaller accompanying stamps in the set.

Draw light pencil lines 3cm apart and 4cm from bottom of a 7” x 7” white card blank – mark the centre. Add one of the borders from the Bijou Jayne Nestorenko Fuchsia stamp set above and below each line in Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Add the other border from the same set either side in the same ink.

Add the butterfly from the set in the same manner.

Colour the borders using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils picked up from a mix mat with a watercolour brush pen.When dry, erase the pencil lines.

Colour the butterfly in the same manner.

To finish, add Happy Birthday between the borders in the same ink as before using the Entwined Sentiments.
