WOYWW 699: One More Week to Go

Wow only one more week until a large milestone for Julia and the WOYWW crowd - 700 weeks of sharing desks and friendship.  It's never too late to join in and you will be very welcome.  Just pop over to Stamping Ground where all is explained.

I have started preparing my next lot of pages for my #dailychallenge2022.  These will involve tree tiles from Crafty Individuals and at 3 tiles per page will do 5 days in my journal taking me into November and the last of the 6 kraft scrapbooks I will use this year.

I had my booster Covid jab on Monday and was rather tired yesterday with a sore arm so did very little.  Hoping I will get more done today as I have four more samples to make before posting on Friday.  Enjoyed a full play day at the inaugural Score Lines event with Helen Hooker on Saturday.  Only a 10 minute drive from home and there were about 40 recorder players there.  One lady had come from as far away as Bristol and Helen is from Essex so a quick journey there and back.  Not sure where and when the next one will be.  I am enjoying half term and will be round to visit sooner rather than later as a result.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Wow, great turn out for the Score Lines, how marvellous. Bet you had a great day, no doubt helped in part by the easy commute!
I too love the tree pics…am not sue why they are called tiles, but I’m perfectly sure they’ll round your October pages off a treat!

Hi Sarah
these are gorgeous - please could you advise how you are creating the backgrounds (they look like watercolours/brushos?) I DID wonder if they are your new distress watercolour pencils.
Well done for getting your autumn booster - I'm going for a pneumonia vaccination today, one off only. Shingles vacc. after my 70th birthday next month - such fun!!
Love
Maggie (Bendy Yorkite)

How marvellous that you enjoyed the recorder day so much and even better that it’s so convenient for you to get there. Hope there’s many more. Sorry about your arm, it seems to have hit a lot of people like that.

Hi Sarah, pleased you had a good time at the Score Lines event that was a great turn out. Loving the CI tiles and I'm sure I have some of them somewhere. Craft Individuals were one of the first comapanies I bought stamps from when I started making cards and I still love their style. Wishing you a very restful week and a creative woyww, Angela x13x

It's been one of those mornings for me...the lady coming for the two memory bears forgot to come! and the bridesmaid came with the bride for he fitting and they wanted a memory bear too....I guess some you win and some you lose. I've now made the memory bear and she's really rather special [will show and tell in 2 weeks].
Really love all the butterfly pages.
Hugs,

I love everything you show here, those tiles are so nice and the colorful pages you created are beautiful! I have an appointment for a Covid jab next tuesday, a lot of my collegues got ill after they had it but I never felt anything of it before (I had the vaccin jab 4x already) so I hope it/I will be ok this time too... I love joining woyww this week after a long time absence; it's good to see what everyone's up to and catch up a bit. Have a great day dear, love from Holland. Marit #3

Hi Sarah, sorry for the lateness of this comment. Despite promises, Openreach hasn't sort out our internet. Hope your arm is feeling a lot better. I'm looking forward to seeing your daily challenge and the tiles are fabulous. Hug, Elizabeth x #21
