Bijou Agapanthus Birthday Card

Small stamps can be a focal point on a card with careful framing.  Here I used two of the Bijou floral stamp sets designed by Jayne Nestorenko from Claritystamp.

Stamp the Bijou floral frame by Jayne Nestorenko onto a piece of Clarity stencil card using Black Soot Distress Archival ink.
Add the Bijou Agapanthus into the centre in the same ink.
Add Happy Birthday below the Agapanthus as before.
Colour the Agapanthus in Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils and a watercolour brush pen.
Add the second smallest square embedder over the image using low tack tape.
Turn it over, lay it on the A5 Lightwave and go round the edges with Groovi tools to embed.
Remove the embedder and add the next size up. Repeat the process to give a double embedded frame.
Die cut the topper using the 6” nested squares die and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested squares picot die.
Add one of the Agapanthus borders around the outer edge of the topper in the same ink as before.
Colour in the same manner.
To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
