Holly Leaf Scene

I had fun creating a scene within the holly leaf.  The mask which comes with the leaf helps create the background and the scene.

Stamp the holly leaf outline onto the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Mask up the leaf and add the holly background around it in Broken China Distress Oxide. Remove the mask.

Mask off the outside and add the cabin, large tree, smaller trees, star and standing stag from the Winter Cabin miniatures set into the leaf in the same ink as the outline.

Tear a strip of copy paper to create a mask and blend Tumbled Glass Distress ink below it to create the ground. Repeat below the stag.

Add a mini moon mask and blend the same ink into the sky with a Clarity stencil brush. Remove the masking.

Colour the cabin using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#178, #280).

To finish, add one of the Clarity Christmas & Celebrations word stickers.
