An 8th Birthday Card

I was asked to make a birthday card for a Stoke City fan by a colleague and this is what I came up with.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5” nested squares die and a mat from red card using the corresponding nested squares picot die.

Add the 8 using Cherry Green’s Doodleology Numbers in Tulip Red Versafine Clair ink.

Add a Stoke City badge cut out from wrapping paper backed onto card.

Add Josh along the bottom using the Doodle Alphabet in the same ink as before.

Add Happy Birthday in the middle using the Entwined Sentiments in Medieval Blue Versafine Clair ink.

Add the football from the Sport Open Framer stamp set in the same red ink as before.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank, add the same football round the edges as before and in Medieval Blue.

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of the card.
