WOYWW 608: Back and Forth

Welcome to my weekly Wednesday contribution to WOYWW where crafters share their workspaces and link up via our lovely leader Julia at Stamping Ground.  Please pop over and see what it's all about.

There's a feeling of deja vu about my desk today.  I am still keeping up with my daily drawings and not much esle I can share as I have been working on samples and can't share those yet.  Please let me know if you are sick of seeing the same thing each week.  I will be starting on the inktober2017 prompts tomorrow and I have found enough daily drawing prompt lists to keep me going for the rest of this year.

Sending healing vibes and gentle hugs to Shaz (Silverwolf).  Happy WOYWW everyone, I'll be round to visit later as I am working from school this week.

No, don't stop showing us the inky drawings. It is good to see them and I try to not see the word and guess what it is. You are good!
Hope school is ok this week, still wish you could all have the vaccine before venturing out and working with kids.
Take care and stay safe and well, Hugs, Neet 9 xx

No, I’m not bored, I enjoy seeing them and wondering what I would do for the prompt as well. I think ink drawings are fantastic, just look at the work of Charlie Mackesey at the moment (the Boy and the Horse series), pure genius!

I really like seeing your drawings and how you interpret the prompts. The last one "dizzy" made me laugh as it brought back many playground memories. The riding boots and light bulb are spot on. Enjoy your week! Love, Karen#32

I liked your idea for "Catch" - it reminded me of various Strictly Come Dancing wardrobe mishaps! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #10

If drawing makes you happy that's all that matters. Have fun with the samples too. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x

My fave drawing is dizzy. It reminds me of the last time I was on a kids playground & felt sick after being pushed round by my kids. 😉 Love & hugs from Sue #22 xx

I like seeing your daily drawings, Sarah, and admire your faithfulness. Have you done a comparison? I think your skill has gotten better and better! Or do you just have more time to dedicate to this now?

What about school? Are you in lockdown and remote teaching?

Be safe and well!

Happy Wednesday!

It's never the same thing, Sarah!! Always something different and new, and I just adore your quirky take on each single word prompt. My favourites today are "Dark" and "Dizzy," closely followed by "Catch." Great stuff. Keep 'em coming. You've got a real talent for this. You ought to publish a book.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Sarah, I enjoy seeing your daily drawings - they're fun. It's also interesting how you interpret the words ... sometimes it's surprising, in the nicest of ways. Look forward to what you come up with next week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #30

Hi Sarah! I like seeing your drawings, and how you interpret each word. My Mom and a friend did writing practices once a week using one word or phrase, and this reminds me of that. It's very interesting how they each interpreted the same word differently. They had enough little one page stories to fill up 2 books that they recently published! Keep up the drawing! My favourite one this week was "catch" - I've done that so many times! Thanks for your visit, have a great week and stay safe! Lindart #34

Thanks for your return visit, Sarah. I've decided I am going to make a few more of the latest cat squares despite the fact that they take so long. Part of the problem is that I keep making mistakes and having to undo it! Thanks for your good wishes for my ongoing issues. Lily and Ruby say "meow" - my hubby ended up bringing another chair in to sit on at lunch time today because he couldn't bring himself to disturb them! Pics next Wednesday.

Have a great week,
