Quarantine Quickies #49 & #50: Bucket List / Word of Mouth

I must admit that initially I struggled for ideas for these two pages in my tag book (following the prompts over on Mission Inspiration).  Once I got started though, the pages came together quickly.

Cover a #8 manilla tag with a piece of inky copy paper, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.
Stamp the easel from the Work of Art stamp set in Black Soot archival ink.
Add a cameo inside the frame with the same ink. This represents me learning to draw and paint people.
Add the mannequin from the Haberdashery set in the same ink. This represents an occasional urge to take part in the Great British Sewing Bee.
Stamp the wedding cake from Wee Folk 6Wedding stamps in Black Soot archival ink. This represents a wish for my children to settle down and be happy with a life partner.
Add the Masai warrior from the Wee Africa stamp set. This represents a wish to visit Kenya.
Add the Eiffel Tower from the Sketchy Fashion stamp set. This represents an urge to visit Paris other than with a school group.
Add shading using Faber Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs.
To finish, add the prompt with a black Posca pen.
Cover a #8 manilla tag with another piece of the same inky copy paper, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.
Stamp the speech bubble from the Wee Fashion (Umbrella) set in Black Soot archival ink.
Mask off the speech bubble and add the lips from the Visible Image Face It set in Barn Door archival ink. Remove the mask.
Repeat the process using the speech bubble from the Wee Fashion (Handbag) set.
Add a third speech bubble and lips this time using Picked Raspberry archival ink.
Add shading to the speech bubbles with Faber Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs. Add one of Barbara’s word stickers to each speech bubble.
To finish, add the prompt with a black Posca pen.

Clever ideas. I like your colour choice and I am sure Jane would approve! x
