Pop Up Birthday Card: Ocean Swirls Texture Stamps

I do like stamps which can be used as a background to other images or sentiments.  These new Ocean Swirls Mixed Impressions texture stamps from Claritystamp fit the bill perfectly.  I decided to combine them with a die which I recently acquired.

Using the 4” nested square die, cut a topper from Clarity stencil card. Cut a mat from black card using the 4.25” nested square picot die.
Stamp the topper using the A5 Ocean Swirls Grunge Mixed Impressions Texture stamp and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide.
Lay the smaller stencil over the top and brush over with a Clarity stencil brush and Black Shadow Artistry ink.
Add a sentiment from the Essential Sentiments stamp set in Onyx Black Versafine ink, heat embossed with detail clear powder.
Mat and layer and add to the front of a 5” x 5” white card blank.
Cut the mechanism for the inside of the card to create the pop-up using the Karen Burniston photo collage pop-up dies and attach it to the right hand side of the card inner.
Cut eight 3.8cm x 4.6cm panels from Clarity stencil card. Stamp each one with a different section of the smaller Ocean Swirls Texture plates in different shades of blue Oxides.
Add a sentiment to two of them using the same method and stamps as the front of the card. Add Wee Folk stamps to the rest.
Add the panels to the pop up mechanism.
To finish, cut panels of Great Lakes designer paper to 4” x 4.75” and line the front and back inside of the card.
