Quarantine Quickies #61 & #62: Night Owl / Tall Story

The latest two pages in my Quarantine Quickie tag journal following the daily prompts over on Mission Inspiration.  Here are #61 and #62.

Cover a #8 manilla tag with the top layer of a piece of inky paper towel, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.
Use the medium moon mask outer and pounce white acrylic paint through the aperture with a foam tool.
Stamp the single owl from the Wise Owls set in Antique Linen Distress Oxide onto Clarity stencil card.
Colour the owl with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils blended out with a water colour brush pen.
Die cut two branches from kraft card using the Spellbinders Cherry Blossom dies.
Add them to the tag and trim the excess.
Fussy cut the owl, edge it with a brown brush marker and add the owl to the tag. Seal with matte medium and dry thoroughly.
Add shading with Faber-Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs.

8 To finish, add the prompt with a black Posca pen inside the moon.

I love the boy sitting on the books! Reminded me so much of my son - he was a proper bookworm hahaha. Another set for my wish list. Can see this as a lovely bookmark for him, as he is still a bookworm xx
