The latest offerings of quarantine quickie pages in my tag journal (second of three book rings). I am still having lots of fun interpreting the daily prompts over on Mission Inspiration.
Cover a #8 manilla tag with the top layer of a piece of inky paper towel, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.
Stamp one of the Wee Houses onto Clarity stencil card in Hickory Smoke archival ink.
Mask it off and add the nest from the Cockerel and Hen stamp set below it. Remove the mask.
Colour the house and the nest using water colour pencils, blended out with a watercolour brush pen.
Fussy cut the image (minus the chimneys) and add it to the tag.
Add shading around the image using Faber-Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
To finish, add the prompt with a black Posca pen. Add a drop shadow with a white gel pen.
Cover a #8 manilla tag with a piece of inky copy paper, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.
Stamp the Balloon stamps onto the tag in Hickory Smoke archival ink. Add the tops of trees using the Wee Trees stamps along the bottom of the tag in Black Soot archival ink.
Stamp the balloons again onto off cuts of Clarity designer papers.
Fussy cut the balloons from the designer paper and add over the stamping on the tag.
Add shading to the baskets and around the balloons using Faber-Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
Add highlights in white gel pen and the teeny weeny flock of birds from the Bird Outline stamp set in Black Soot archival ink.
To finish, add the prompt with a black Posca pen.
