Two more of my tag journal pages following the prompts over on Mission Inspiration. The idea for the second tag was inspired by a page by Barbara Breeden Workman.
Cover a #8 manilla tag with the top layer of an inky deli paper, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.
Add stamping using the Clarity Mixed Media Journal stamps in Red Geranium and Cobalt Blue archival inks.
Add the New York City Skyline stencil over the top and pounce white acrylic paint through it using a foam tool. Dry the paint and repeat for a more opaque finish. Add white acrylic paint along the bottom of the tag where the stencil was too short. Add shading along the edges of the stencilling with red and blue Derwent Inktense pencils, blended out with a watercolour brush pen. To finish, add the prompt with a black Posca pen. Cover a #8 manilla tag with the top layer of a piece of inky paper towel, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess. Add stamping to the background using the Mixed Media Journal stamps in Cactus Flower, Pink Peony, Hydrangea and Violet archival inks. Using the face mask from IndigoBlu, black out the left hand side of the tag with acrylic paint. Stamp various stamps from the Haberdashery, Kitchen and Work of Art stamp sets onto the head in Versamark ink. Heat emboss with white embossing powder. Outline the head using a white embossing pen. To finish, add the prompt with a black Posca pen.
