WOYWW 524: Report writing Finished

I am celebrating today.  My reports are finished for this school year.  I wrote the last 46 comments yesterday and will transfer them over onto the school system when I get into work this morning.
As you can see, my desk shows why I don't usually take a photo on a Wednesday morning.  This is the boring reality of my desk on a school day, early morning marking and a cup of Toffee Nut Latte to warm me up.  If you squint, you can see the start of my sister's birthday present in the background.  I got this far at a fabulous workshop with Maria Moorhouse on Sunday and now I just have to finish off all the decorating and embellishments.  This week is a bit of a come down after the fabulous crop posts all over WOYWW last week.  Thanks for sharing everyone who went.
Please visit The Stamping Ground to join in with the weekly desk share, or just snoop around other people's crafty spaces, I am sure Julia will welcome you with open arms.
I can at least share my sneak peeks for Maria's Clarity shows on Hochanda today (12pm and 4pm).  I delivered them in person on Sunday as well as four more for shows a week today so you may get to see the full versions if you tune in.  Happy WOYWW everyone.

sometimes the mundanity of real life just has to be er... tweaked, right! I have a bit of a staged desk (floor) too today! Happy Wednesday and well done on getting all the reports done. Helen#9

That's a lot of grading you had to do. I remember those days (as a Teaching Assistant while getting my Ph.D.). Thankfully, I never brought work home.

I am SO sorry I have still not received the tag, Sarah. I feel bad. However, I promise to let you know when it gets here. Happy WOYWW from # 8.

Sarah, I really don't know how you keep up the daily blogging, your DT work and your responsibilities as a teacher! All I can say is that I'm in awe and I would like to be able to achieve half as much as you do! Hope you have a great week and get some rest along the way as well! zsuzsa #20

I know, the post-Crop blues have struck! Especially when you had to launch straight into report writing...I bet you're happy they're done now. Glad you enjoyed the weekend workshop, it's fun to craft like that!

I know what you mean about the come down and I was not even at the crop, lovely photo's of it all as I make my way slowly around people. I can sense your relief of finishing your marking and now counting down the weeks till the end the school year!!! It sure does keep us busy DT work, i'm so behind on mine but it's all so relaxed with the understanding it's all about having fun at the end of the day. Look forward to catching a glimpse when I get some downtime.
Happy WoywW Tracey #3 and Thanks for the warm welcome back xx

You know Sarah it doesn't bother me one bit about being no 1 on the list. I know some of you strive for it but I gave up on it long ago. It was a complete surprise last night when I loaded Julia's blog up to find it already there and I wondered whether I should post it or not. I just wanted a lie in bed with these legs of mine.
Good news, the GP rang at 10 am to tell me he had talked my condition over with cardiology and now we have a three point plan ready for action. Glad I got this new GP although i still stay loyal to my old one.
I cannot make my mind up which is your sisters present - the piece on the white block or the piece behind it - or could that be a chair back? As what it is I am sure it will be lovely knowing you.
Nice to see your marking and your beaker. Have a good week and Phew! on getting those reports done, the bane of my life at one time.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Hi Sarah, well done on getting through all the reports. I squinted but couldn't work out what your sister's present was. I'll have to wait for the post in the finished item. Would be lovely to come and craft with you during October half term, provided we aren't away on holiday (no plans for that at the moment). Have a lovely week Heather xx #12

Oh my word, Sarah, that looks like a huuuge amount of work! Poor you. But you must be glad it's all done now. I'm glad you've also managed to get in a bit of crafting time. Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you enjoyed my video! My hubby's hand wasn't all that steady at times but I think the final edited version came out OK! The time will race by and it will soon be here. Glad you enjoyed the kitty news too. Today they had a major spat and the fur literally flew, with four letter words too!! I don't know what that was all about but it's usually Ruby being aggressive - she's the junior one and I think every now and then she tries to get the upper paw. They both crashed out afterwards and after a good long sleep they were fine with each other again!

I'm feeling a bit better today thank you, and did some cooking, and I managed to slice part of a fingernail off with one of my absolutely lethal kitchen knives so it's strapped up now, painful and inconvenient not being able to get it wet etc. It's going to take ages to heal and for the new nail to grow up. Duh. I could kick myself.

Happy belated WOYWW,
