Warhol Inspired Fairies

This is another of my samples for the launch of the Clarity fairy designs on Hochanda.  This one seemed to go down well so I thought it was about time that I shared the step by step.  It is a very straight forward technique and would work with any of the square three way overlay stamps from Clarity.
I worked on a piece of 7" x 7" stencil card and chose four colours of Artistry inks: Green Garland, Lime Kiss, Blue Chase and Blaze.  I started by stamping the second (line infill) stamp from the Sugarplum fairy set in Green Garland and then overlaid the third (background) stamp in Lime Kiss.

Next, I used stamp 2 to add an image in Blaze Artistry ink to the right of the first.
This was filled in with Blue Chase using the background stamp.

This was repeated to the bottom left, but this time reversing the colours.

The final image used the reverse colour scheme to the first.

I trimmed the white frame away.
I found the perfect sentiment in the Snarky Small Talk sticker set from Tim Holtz.
To finish, I matted the piece onto black card.
Who said fairies have to be stamped in pastel colours lol?
