Take a Perch

 As well as collecting stamps by Clarity Crafts, I also love the designs from Timestamp Creations.  As they are also manufactured by Clarity, the quality is second to none.  I had a quick play with one of the newer stamp sets 'Take a Perch' and combined them with a background made at last summer's Clarity retreats.

I started by choosing one of the acrylic paint backgrounds from the retreats.

The large stamp with the crow from the Take a Perch stamp set was added in Jet Black Archival ink.

I then added the foliage at the top in the same ink and trimmed the background.

This was followed by adding the verse, likewise.

To finish, I simply edged the topper with a black Sharpie pen and added it to the front of a 5" x 5" white card blank.
