The prompt for the February PTC swap over on Clarity Mini Makes and ATCs is Baby. I have very few Groovi plates with a baby theme so decided to base my PTC around the word baby but use animal images instead.
I trimmed a piece of Rainbow River designer parchment to 4” x 3”.Next, I used the nested rectangle picot Groovi plate to add a double frame for the outer edge of the PTC with the 1mm Pergamano ball tool.Baby was added into the middle of the PTC using Groovi Word Chain border plate #8.I added the cats, bunnies, deer and bird from the Stag Outline, Grove Trees Outline and Bird Outline Baby Plates.I then added a further cat and bird for balance to finish the line art.The bunnies’ tails were highlighted using a 3mm Pergamano ball tool – 2 layers with a 20 minute rest in between. I also erased the colour from two of the cats by using the white ended Faber-Castell eraser pencil on the back of the parchment and then coloured them black on the front using a Perga Colour pen.The remaining animals and birds were coloured in the same manner in shades of grey and brown.I cut across the corners, folded the edges and added to an ATC blank with double sided tape.It was a quick job to add the ATC stamp to a second ATC blank and complete the details in Jet Black Archival ink and a micron pen. This was then added to the back of the PTC.To finish, I added Perga Glitter (hint of gold) to the lettering using sticky ink and a mapping pen.
